I have heard rumor that Bullseye Power has been working on a new wheel design called Triple Compression Technology. Has anyone ran, tested, or heard Anything about these? Was told Dustin from Diesel Addiction is running a 75mm but haven't heard of anyone else.

Sounds like it could be a good turbo but then again I have heard mixed emotions on the Batmowheels.

I tore up the converter in my truck the day after putting it on, then found twisted C2 hub/P2 planet splines that I'm not 100% sure were not there when I went through the trans before getting the truck back on the road. It hasn't had any tie ups at all so I'm thinking I caught traction during a 3>4 shift that caused it. I was waiting on a billet C2 and P2 planet for weeks but they have come in so the truck should be on the road by the end of the week.

Anyway, I went from a Double bat 75 with an 83mm turbine in a 1.0 T4 to a TCT 75 with an 87mm turbine in a 1.0 T4. With the Double Bat I had high drive pressures that I was blaming on the relatively small turbine, but stuck it on the dyno to get a baseline and did 835rwhp. After swapping to the TCT I picked up a couple pounds of boost and dropped about 5 PSI off drive pressure, but with the jump in turbine wheel I should have dropped more so I'm leaning towards my 4" exhaust with 3 mufflers building more back pressure than I expected. I now have a 4" electric cutout right off the down-pipe that I can't wait to test. I'll be getting some new dyno numbers in the next few weeks.

When you send cores up front, you don't have to wait :thumb:

Seems everything from suncoast is a few week wait anymore ..... all except the chest pounding on the interweb!

Almost done! Had to get a couple of extra things from the Allison dealer. Had nothing to do with the Suncoast stuff, by the way I shipped out the output and core returns you should have it at the beginning of next week!

yes i am running one. I dont really have sufficient test time on it yet as my first pull was a flop due to what looks like a pissed off transfer case that might of actually been caused by this new charger. lol thats what i get for being an ass on the road. all i do know so far is it seems to move a ridiculous amount of air.

I am not using a SunCoast sleeved C2 hub, I was waiting on the full billet hub from Mike L - but his machinist was the delay. Now I have a few of the full billet C2 hubs in stock and one is in my trans, which should be going back in today. I sent a few core P2 planets and sun gears to SunCoast and they turned them around quickly and got me the billet snout P2s and modded sun gears.

I order 5-6 kits from SunCoast every couple weeks and never have to wait long for them.

Compared to a double batmo? Or have you never ran one of those?

I have ran a double bat before. It seems to move more air from a fuel judgement standpoint. However, like I said I really don't have any true test time with it yet. My test time consists of a Dyno pull and some monkeying around on the road with it.

Got the truck back together and besides the cut-out making my truck go from very quite to insane - it did nothing for my drive pressure. Didn't take it to the dyno yet, after talking to David at BullsEye I decided to send it back in for some changes. One option was to go to a 96mm turbine in a T4 housing, but in my street truck that is not an option for me. We are going to try clipping the 87mm wheel to relieve some drive pressure and stepping up to a 1.1 housing.

One thing that is becoming apparent is that with the more aggressive compressors like the double bat and TCT as a single they are moving more air and putting more load on the turbine, slowing the shaft speed and creating drive pressure issues. The turbine wheel and housing needs to be sized as if you are running a much bigger compressor to balance things back out. In a compound setup when you are running a lot less shaft speed in the first place they really shine, because they can move a lot of air with a low shaft speed compared to a straight blade wheel.

For now I stuck a straight bladed billet 80/87 on it and will probably put it on the dyno with that setup. My goal is to hit 1000 rwhp with this 12mm stroker from Exergy. After that I'm fine with 800ish rwhp - after all it's a basic budget build on the bottom end. After only one drive I can tell you the straight billet 80/87 .90 is slower to spool than the TCT 75/87 1.0 was. We'll see when I get on a road that I can play on how top end pull and drive pressure are doing.
