What all is involved when building a trans? I know internals are beefed up but what all exactly in involved and what does building a trans cost?

huh maybe Ill have to look into these, ive always used stock solenoids in the transmissions I build and they all hold great power.

When you buy the kit they send 2 new solenoids 2 springs and 2 balls and 2 drill bits you drill 2 bigger holes in the plate and change those solenoids so I assumed they was BETTER then what was in there before

Never seen a kit with 2 new solenoids. The solenoids cost over 100.00 each and rarely go bad.

First thing in the morning when I shift into reverse to leave the house it takes a while to engage. Same thing when I shift into drive it hesitates before engagement. Do I have a solenoid going out?

Every Suncoast trans I have ever owned, did that.
