I decided to go through the transmission in the van myself recently. It started slipping toward the end of the season. We had to take it back to the guy that originally built it several times for the same thing. I'm not sure why it wasn't holding up, but there were several things I was not too impressed with given the type of reputation this guy has online.

Anyway, this time around we started with a new valve body and trans brake from Rossler. All the clutches except for the direct and overrun clutches were replaced. I'm anxious to see how it holds up for us this year.

What else is going on with the Dumpster for this next year, Josh?

More of the same. I'm just hoping we can do more racing with it this year. Maybe do some more modifications. I have a set of Kodiak manifolds and up pipes that I want to put on. I'd like to build a compound setup for it also, but I'm not sure if that will happen anytime soon. Eventually the engine and transmission will find a new home, but we have yet to decided what it will go in or when it will happen. I'll probably wait until it gets a permanent home before I build the twins.
