I have a built motor and run twin cp3's. I have a little over 13,000 miles on it and drive approximately 75 miles a day. I pull anything I want to and have had no problems to date.

I *had* a built motor for 15,000 miles. Built it myself. It ran smoother than stock and was 100% reliable right up until I put two DURAMAX TUNER rods through the side of the block.

I also HAD a built motor with dual CP3s that I put a whopping 4500 miles on before my quality connecting rod started to show signs of bending. Luckily Ben's misfortune already had me worried and watching for a problem. I am almost ready to drop the motor back in. It will be even better this time around.

You go with the all new aluminum super duper unbendable stand up to nitro power rods this time around..... :D

Sucks you guys found that shit out the hard way. There's no win for anyone in that situation

Can you say who the manufacture of rods were Josh? Just curious and a heads up.

Look up screenenames here and on DP. Was on both at one time.,

We finished mine july 27 last year and I have almost 10k miles on it. I run th etwin cp3's everyday. The tune i'm running made 613 rwhp and ran 12.46 on the heavy side and big tires. I did run around 2k on a tune that ran 11.53 @116.92 on slicks @ 6900lbs. all is well and I am not easy on the truck at all just ask George.

IIRC there were 10 sets of those POS's made. NONE of the trucks that got those rods are still running. Mine was the first (only?) catastrophic failure. Before long all of the rest began to exhibit signs of impending failure (low compression, bad balance rates, smoke) and were torn down as a safety measure because at that point we knew they were all junk and would fail [catastrophically] eventually.
