I'm talking with a machine shop about building some parts because I want to see if it is affordable for me to try fabricating my own intake with a built in water to air intercooler. I am looking at having some plates machined to bolt to the head, a plate to go on top with radiused inlets to each runner, and curved runners to go between each plate. He said he would probably need to sell at least 10 sets to make it anywhere close to reasonable for them to make the parts. The machine shop does very high quality work, and I promise you won't be disappointed. How much interest is there in something like this? It should fit any Duramax from 01-16 but would require the turbo to be relocated from the valley and custom plumbing to the rail from CP3.
