where can i get some manuals on rebuilding a dmax and allison never none either b4 done gas engines dont know what all is different and where i can get torque specs n clearances n such

My vote goes to the Helm's manuals. I have the full set. 5 books in all. And they are pretty thick with very thin pages. Which means, lots of info. But it covers all engines and trannies for that particular year model truck.

My vote goes to Helm as well! Go ahead and bite the bullet for the whole set, it is a GREAT investment!!:thumb:

I got lucky, it covers my wifes' wheels too!!:woott:

I bought the helms set for mine in 04. At the time they were $137. But one thing i found out is that it doesnt cover the disassembly of the 263x xcase. I also bought the book on the allison 1000. Theres a place in ca. that has manuals for the xcase.
