Working on an 09 truck with broken crank. Got a good used crank and sent it along with the block to the machine shop to be cleaned, flux'd and check for straightness of the crank and align bore of the block.
The truck is stock other than having stuff deleted and a small tow tune.
Have a couple questions.
I hadn't planned on getting it honed. I did have one oil ring break for some reason. Should I be using new rings anyways or not due to not getting it honed.
Bearings, I can't seem to find the link for selecting the proper bearings and the part number is for one set correct (need 5 total to do mains)?
Those are really my only questions for now.
