Broke my Tcase!!

I broke my Tcase last night!!! I have a question before i do this.... will a Tcase from a 06 LBZ Auto work in my 04 LB7 auto? Mine is a NP1. I checked with the dealer and they said it should work but they werent for sure. I dont have the VIN# from the 06 LBZ truck it came off of.

Yea! I have tcase brace........I broke the output shaft!!!!!!!! Going to get it fixed tomorrow........

They do break guys. I stretched a chain and destroyed the front half of the case .
