I am towing my 12,000 lb 5th wheel.

I think i have several problems:

Bad Alternator

Serious voltage leak

SOMETHING BLEW AND I HAVE NO POWER TO ANYTHING!

It's a long story but I got two BRAND NEW batteries today (previous ones were only 12 months old). I drove about 2 hours then stopped for something to eat. Truck wouldn't turn over. I connected a battery charger (with starter option - 75 AMPS) using my generator. At first it lit all dash lights but would not start (on 75 AMP setting). I switched it back to 12 volts to let it charge for a bit. Then I switched it back to 75 AMPS again and NOTHING!

I can't even get a dash light to work now. I don't know if there is a fuse that blew or what but there is absolutely NOTHING running.

Any ideas?

The Norco's
Under the main fuse box housing in the engine bay on the driver side is a 175amp maxi fuse check that, good luck.

OK, got truck started. I took the batteries home and charged overnight. When I reinstalled BOTH batteries the truck fired up. By the time I got home the voltage was dropping close to 12 volts. I definitely think it's the alternator.

Apparently the truck reset or something because it seemed fine when I turned the key this AM.

Thanks for the help!
