Broke a rod, Injectors ok ?

I'm getting ready to swap everything onto my new motor and it just occured to me, what's the chances when number 8 rod broke the piston smashed the injector ?????, this could suck cuz the budget is running low

Very unlikely. The piston may have contacted the head, but unless there was some catastrophic piston failure, it is pretty much impossible for the piston to touch the injector.

ok good i couldn't remember how the bowl configuration was oriented to the head for injector clearance, and the piston looks ok from what i ca see through the hole in the block lol
