Yeah, I thought it looked terrible, and I really like the old square bodies.

Meh. Maybe if they skipped the wagon wheels, those are the epitome of white trash

Also think the black / silver theme would sell better.

I love it. Might would go for the green/tan or bronze/tan (that modern brownish bronzish color with a pewter stripe would be :coolspot: to me) or blue/white a little better but I really like the overall look of it.

If they would just put the aluminum trim around the white like the original ones. Now that would be a real classic look. White wheels I could take or leave. The chrome beauty rings really made those trucks look classy back in the day.

Like I said on DP....Nope, looks like ass.

Two tone that doesnt follow body lines doesnt look good.

I cant stand that GM didnt paint the lower portion of the tailgate on the -800s with two tone to match the fender paint. Every time I see one, I think they half-assed it.

The best thing about the old square bodies is they offered a non two-tone version with no trim. That truck looks like shit

I agree sean it's just plain ugly to me.

I had a 79 shortbed. Best truck I ever owned. It was a Silverado trim package with pearl white from the factory with the trim delete option. Biggest mistake I ever made in my entire life was selling that truck.

The biggest reason the two tone trucks are ugly in my opinion because of the trim. Even without the trim I still just done like two tone on square bodies.

I like it overall. I actually think the white rims look good on it, which I was not expecting. I do with the paint matched the body lines better, but overall I think it is nice looking. Not for everyone, for sure.

I really should do something with my 1982 C10 besides having it sit in a barn and collect dust.

TX of course
I had an 81 Silverado RCSB with alum. trim and solid metallic brown paint. Had removed all the trim but on the tailgate and the back of the cab. We had done all the body work to it other paint when my dad scrapped it. He was sick of me tearing it up and it being broke down in the driveway. I blew the 350 so we stroked it. Smoked TH350 built a 700R and I broke rear 2 axles before putting a semi floater in.

At one point we had 5 square bodies in my family most of them being 2 toned like that. Lots of memories.

I'm just impressed with a little paint how much those trucks look like ones built 40 years ago.
