Do they make a aftermarket breather tube for the stock lb7 air box? I did a search and didnt come up with what I was looking for. I thought I had seen a few trucks with stock air box and aftermarket tube that connects to the inlet horn.

Its not worth the hassle. The airbox itself is restrictive enough an aftermarket breather tube wouldn't help much

If you're bored build one out of PVC, that's what I did back before the diesel aftermarket exploded.

OregonDmax: I always heard the factory box was pretty good until 500hp, not saying your wrong, but can you cite some info on this?

Yes but that only applies to the 06+ models with the round filter. The 01-05 have the same airbox as the half tons basically. They are very restrictive hence why people cut them up to improve flow, in the end they still aren't that great.

I dropped 50* in egt's cruising at highway speeds going from stock to aftermarket CAI on my 02.

Hey that's good info, I always assumed they referred to the LB7's as well. I could use 50* on the highway or while towing. Did you do anything with your intake elbow?

Sorry OP, but this should help your quest as well.
