Driver was fine!
CINCINNATI -- A car split after it crashed into a utility pole Monday afternoon.
The accident happened on Glenway Avenue near Rutledge Avenue in Price Hill.
The crash appeared to be very serious, but police say no one involved had to go to the hospital and the driver walked away with no major injuries.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
The Police should be delivering pizzas.
I will take a wild ass stab at the cause of the accident: The Camaro driver ran into a pole.
Well, you might say "why did he do that?" Doesn't matter much. Lack of driving skills obviously. Be it drunk, speeding, talking on the phone, (or all three), it's pretty easy to avoid hitting fixed objects if you pay attention to what you're doing.
If they find he was drunk, he gets a big punishment.
If they find he was street-racing, he gets a big punishment.
If they find he was speeding, he gets a medium punishment.
If they find he was talking on the phone, a light punishment.
If he was not speeding, not talking on the phone, and sober? Perhaps no punishment.
So, if impaired judgement makes you run into things, it's very bad.
If your NORMAL judgement makes you run into things, you're OK?
Nope, I ain't buying that one. You're a menace to others if you hit things with your car. Excuses (or lack of them) don't change that.
