I am thinking of upgrading the stock brake pads and rotors. Any one got advance on which aftermarket company has the most bang for the buck. Also will change the brake fluid too.

I have the R1 Concepts slotted/drilled Premium rotors with their posi-quiet cermic rotors. Look awesome and work very well.

Had 2 calipers stick with them when my master cylnder took a shit. Was hot enough to damn near glow. They didn't warp or create hard spots in them. Still work great after 30k after that happened.

Pads wear great, very little to no dust and never a squeek.

Ceramic brake pads. The set I have has been on for 3 years and they look brand new. Very little dust too.

Did they ship you the right stuff the first time?

Ive had trouble with the local parts stores getting the wrong brake parts for my truck. Been kinda nervous about ordering online

Can't go wrong with Brake Performance products. I have been running them for 3 years now and also pull equipment trailers as well as race a little bit. they have held up extremely well. still on the same pads and zero warping.

Since it's similar I figured I might as well ask, has anyone just swapped stock lines for the braided and could you tell any difference? I was considering flushing the system and figured no better time to change the lines but only of it is worth it

I did braided lines at the same time....so I'm no help. Everything made a huge difference when I swapped.

A simple flush would help most people.....seems everyone forgets to change the power steering and brake fluid.

I was looking at the russell ss braid lines and was gonna put them on too since i was doing the brake fluid. I was thinking about just doing the front fbrakes and then later on doing the back brakes. But might as well do it all at once. I looked at the brake performance site and thats what im gonna go with. Also when you bleed the system do u still have some one pump the brakes till they get hard and hold it, then bleed the caliber? Thanks guys

slotted versus smooth?

For towing, what benefit is there to drilled and slotted versus smooth rotors?
what is the down side of slotted?

Are the premium rotors like Bosch Quietcast worth $ 119?

Did you end up getting the Brake Performance setup? I plan on getting some as well.
