As the title states, should you or I purchase the old standby with just a Teflon core and a exterior stainless steel braid protection (not sure exactly if some one knows please post), or, go with a bit more expensive brake line with multiple layers with a teflon inner core, Kevlar braid, protective layer, stainless steel braid, and a color of you choice through Crownperformance..?

What about you....?

That stuff looks cool but im cheap. I would use the new copper alloy brake line you can buy in bulk and flare yourself. I do brake lines every week at work and that stuff is awesome.

Clarksville fastener makes custom/made to order hydraulic/brake line, you can pick the color of the sheathing and fasteners too...had em make a set for a buddy's TBSS not that long ago...quality product and a fair price :thumb:

I think anything is better than the OEM rubber lines.

I just used that stuff for the first time a couple months ago for the drivers side line. It was so easy to use, did all of the bending by hand.

No problems with my Russell ss brake lines after 5 years. I'm cheap too so I would just stick with them, I dont get into the whole color thing..
