LLY: brake line.

Been trying to find this part online for a couple hours now and can't seem to locate it and really don't want to go to the dealership tomorrow. It is the same type of connector that I'm pointing to just on the other end of the flexible hose. I also took a picture of the bad end but it is behind the power steering pump so not as easy to see. I figure I am going to have to get the whole line.

Its a power steering hose... Get the updated ones from allseason diesel..

You have to get the whole line. You can get the expensive stuff or you can get the regular stuff. I Just replaced all of mine a few months ago. Went to Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts, can't remember. Figured the OEM stuff lasted 180,000 miles so no need to go overboard on the expensive stuff, but that's just me.

ok that makes sense... I might not be the smartest person but I'm confused on why it runs and connects under the brake reservoir. That is why I thought it was part to the brake lines.

:thumb: definitely. mine lasted 150k I cant justify $225 dollars on something that I probably wont have to replace until well over 250k

The lines are connected to the hydroboost... It uses pressure from the power steering pump for braking...

so does that mean if the power steering goes out brakes follow suit?
