Brake light issues

So my truck has been acting funny recently(2001 lb7) every now and then my tail lights will stop working my mirror blinkers and front blinkers will work but the rear blinkers act funky as well.. then I hit the brake and I lose all turn signals, and my blinker indicators on my dash both light up and hold solid until I release the pedal then only my mirror or front blinkers work. This is starting to happen more often and is frustrating the heck outta me. Help a guy out!

Have you changed the blinker relay under the dash? When my blinkers started doing strange things, I changed the relay and it fixed the issue.

The harness exits the front of the cab, then travels along the frame to the rear where it goes into the bed for your taillights. I worked on a truck for a guy with a similar problem. Ended up being some chafing where the harness goes behind the fuel tank causing the wiring to short out. Look up towards the front, there might be a plug to separate the frame portion from the front head light/blinkers right where the cab floor "turns up" into the firewall.

It turned out to be a ground issue
