Brake issue

Looking for some insight on a issue I've been having. When I get off the freeway on my way home from work, I feel like I loose my power brake & my steering gets tight. I drive about 20 miles one way & only notice the issue on my way home & not in the morning heading to work. I can feel the brake pedal kick back and brakes will start to stop better after I'm about 3/4 the way up the off ramp.

Is this a hydroboost issue since I can feel the steering tighten up also or do I need to look else where. 160k on the truck. Haven't flushed power steering or brake fluid since I've owned the truck.

Hey man, check the High Pressure PS lines coming off the brake booster, they're known to become an issue and leak...DHD sells a HPPS kit that I'd highly recommend to use for replacement parts

Brake pedal kickback is usually a sign of a bad hydroboost. I'd flush the system first. Unless you're leaking between the hydroboost and master cylinder. And change the fluid more regularly in the future.
