Hey everybody, I got an 06 3500 sierra and was wondering is there a fuse or breaker for the brake controller. I know if you don't use the factory wiring harness pigtail you have to put a breaker inline somewhere. I put the P3 in and it had a premade harness that goes from the controller to the fuse box and i can't find the fuse or breaker. Any help would be greatly appreciated

It should be pre installed at the factory, it is under the hood labeled either stud #2 or Aux B. The fuse that everybody talks about adding is Stud #1 or Aux A which is for the 12V + circuit in the trailer plug, not the brakes.

Well the aux A(or stud 1) fuse is just the constant hot (trailer battery charge) in the plug. It's the terminal in the upper right corner of the 7-way plug. Aux B(or stud 2) fuse is just for the power feed wire under the dash for the brake controller.
