Biggest surprise for me so far is how good Duke actually is/was. I thought sure aTm would destroy them but Duke gave Johnny all he wanted!!
Duke gave A&M all they could handle.
As for Michigan, they were completely demoralized after they got demolished by MSU back in November.
It was wild seeing the Rose Bowl 70% MSU Green. My BIL was there. Lucky bastage.

I still think the best bowl game thus far was CSU and WSU in the Gildan NMexico bowl. Awesome game to watch. Mike Leach will have WSU on the way up for sure.
Pulled for Duke and MSU. Both GREAT games. One was a disappointing end. Yesterday made up for it though.

IDK who to think will win the Auburn-FSU game. FSU has been NASTY this year, at least against lesser quality teams. Auburn has had a good run lately though.

I still can't believe MSU is going to end up #2 in the country. Who the hell would've ever thought that would happen?
What do you fellas think about the playoff system for next year? I think it will be better myself.
I think its a great idea, and long overdue. Sucks for the Spartans that it didnt start this year. It would have been fun to watch them go against FSU, Auburn or Alabama.
I agree Tom. Especially since all of the "statistically weaker" teams have won their respective BCS Bowl. I am real curious to see how it all works out.
Tournaments are just better. People that don't even like college B-Ball totally get into march madness. It's cool to see David get a shot at Goliath and then try and prove it wasn't a fluke in the following rounds against teams that have also fought like hell to advance themselves.
Oh, dont get me started on March. MSU is a favorite to win the title, but we dont have a bench, esp big men. Any of the starters get hurt or in foul trouble and we are sunk.
But that's part of the fun Tom. How else would we get Cinderella stories in basketball.
