Boost issue!!!

My truck is reading 15psi boost pressure at idle. Anyone have an idea what causes this?

Mechanical or electric gauge?

Which PID are you looking at? Probably are looking at barometric pressure + boost. That is the only thing that makes sense.

i hooked the truck up to scanner, i don't have any gauges in the truck yet. basically what happened was i raced another truck one day right after i installed the intake and took the muffler out. i blew a bunch of black smoke and everything was fine. ever since that day i have noticed a lag, and she seems a lot slower then she used to be. so i took the truck to a buddies shop and hooked it up to a scanner and the only things that seemed off was the boost pressure reading 15psi at idle.

The turbo will NEVER make 15lbs boost pressure at idle. As stated above, you are reading atmospheric pressure-- sea level is 14.7 lbs.
