I recently purchased a boost increase valve for my lb7 and I cannot happen to find the pressure blowoff line to install it, I can't find the waste gate either. Can somebody help? Could somebody have swapped engines in the truck?

04 Chevrolet duramax 6.6l turbo diesel

I've also noticed my blowoff doesn't sound like most lb7's, instead of the fluctuating noise it's just once single burst of air? It's the first diesel I've owned

It's on the front of the turbo, small hose, cut and install valve. If you still have the 6.6 cover you'll have to pull it off to see the line.

Here is one installed

Fyi you don't have a blow off valve.. You have a wastegate. I'm not sure I've ever heard one on a lb7... If your some how making it turbo bark the waste gate then quit whatever your doing or you'll be buying a turbo.

I've removed the plastics and looked in every possible spot I can, that line does not come out of my turbo in the front like yours does. And I don't do it on purpose It just does it

Can you post a picture of your turbo? Does yours have a metal inlet to the turbo or a plastic Inlet? From the air filter.

That's an lly truck. It's a completely different turbo than lb7.

If that's exactly what yours looks like then you have an lly. Double check your vin.

If your truck has a screw in wire set out of the top of the turbo it's an lly. Or someone has messed around and put lly components on an lb7 truck.

Post a picture of your actual engine bay
