It's an 05 bone stock. Picked up a Banks 6 gun with PDA from a friend today.

My plans for the truck include better fuel mileage and a little better towing capabilities. I have no plans on racing or sled pulling this truck, ever! It's my daily driver and my toy hauler....

With that said, what should I add besides the Banks?? Any input would be great.

"I have no plans on racing or sled pulling this truck, ever! It's my daily driver and my toy hauler...." :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao: Thats what most of us said in the beginning.

Exhaust would be helpful to lower EGTs. Lift pump will help the CP3 do its job.

Okay, maybe when I pay this one off and buy a new duramax, this will become my toy!!! But for now, there's two car seats in the cab, and fourwheeler parts in the back so no racing plans for this Ol chap.

Thanks for the input. What kind of exhaust setup??

2 carseats, eh? Hope that new truck is a crew cab.

4" stainless from anybody you want to buy it from I guess. Are you addressing the P1093, too?

One other thing on the LLYs....look into an LBZ mouthpiece for the turbo.

EFI Live - you will get MPG and a lot more ( it can do a lot more then the Banks. Some run both a small tune and turn off things like EGR)
exhaust
Lift pump
EGR - Blocker plate or delete
SD - Sleeves

Long trim pump rub fix

The list can go on and on.

Shim that fprv! If you're not going to do anything extreme, the banks is purrfect for you. Delete the cat and get a straight exhaust with a quality muffler (banks monster muffler is very nice) so it won't bother your kids. A lift pump, lbz mouthpiece, and new quality shocks should male it very enloyable

Diamond eye is the cheapest 4"and it's bolt on so mo welding. Look at getting a cat delete, it will help with milage. Make sure you get a muffler to quiet it down if you do delete the cat.

Definately think about the pump rub fix for the transfer case. Mine finally bit me about a month ago, fix it before you have a hole in your t-case! EGR blocker was also mentioned, I would put that at the top of my list but I dont know if the banks will block the egr codes you'll get?

Go PPE programmer standard? to delete EGR codes and better tunes than Banks for past lessons here. I went EFI best thing ever or do EFI up to you.

Pollution reduction is the mantra (ever since the 70s) But really what engineer thinks recirculating exhaust gas BACK INTO THE ENGINE??? is a good idea. Really? Really! If I did my job as bad as that I'd QUIT. Thanks for that GM!!!:thumb::spit:
