Info: Body panels

Has anyone removed the body panels on the doors of their Silverado's? I'm wanting to remove mine and worried there will be holes underneath them.

I'm planning on Herculining the rockers from front to back and need those gone.

GM hasn't put holes in the body to hold on molding in a long time.
