BMW after being stolen

So my parents friends had their 2000 BMW 740i stolen from their driveway last night. Here is the car as the police found it earlier this morning\ It crashed into a building 2 miles from their home in an industrial park and then caught fire.

I would hate to have anything stolen and get it back and be able to be repaired/fixed. I would just as soon them find it that way, so it would be considered a total loss. Sorry to hear about their loss.
