hey guys, i am dying to get some larger wheels(35's) after running my 4" cognito with 285's on stockers for so long. i can now afford them, but it is winter here in connecticut and i know a few guys who run a different set of wheels in the winter. i dont plow or anything, so i dont really need to worry traction running a 35x12.5 tire, i just worry about the wheel finish being destroyed.
I really want some 20" bmf novakanes, and i think stealth finish is my best option for my 100% murdered red truck(grille, bumpers, etc). (if you guys think death metal is nice to break up the wheel lmk)
will the current bmf stealth finish hold up in the new england winters? is there anything i can do to protect the finish?
should i try and find some beat up bmf's and powdercoat them?
any input would be great! thanks,
Hank
