Blow by????? What do I do?

Well my lly on the freeway blew out about a gallon of oil out of the pcv the other day. I put oil back in once I got it home and it is not blowin it out at idle but the pcv feels like it is blowin out way to much. Also my truck sou ds horrible sounds like it has a monster cam in it. Where should I start???? What is the process for a compression check

Yeah now I have two duramaxes that don't run. Nothin better than a thousand dollars in payments and no truck to drive

do i mild little built with just rods and pistons maybe key cam and crank. my truck sat for 6 months before i pulled tha motor and sent it to guy at so-cal

Was not beaton it but it was workin both my lly and lb7 failed haulin a trailer. I don't know I am a lil fed up. Granted these were sled pullin trucks but both only had 75000 on them. I am pretty disappointed.

Wait failed on your lb7?

My lb7 was the same. Piston failed and filled the crankcase with pressure and blew oil out of every orfice of the engine

It's not like these motors were full time race machines I expected a lil more. However as far as egts I usually try to keep them at 1200 and below although I have been told 1400 is not a issue for them

I would not run that hot for extended time intervals and surely not when towing for miles. That will really cause you some problems.

You had a aftermart turbo on one if not both trucks at one time. And sled pulled that's not easy on them at all drag raced some they do break. If it's your bread and butter trucks you atleast treat one nice sorry to hear the bad luck.
