Ok I have a block off plate sitting on my shelf, and want to install it, but I'm not sure if I have to do a fingerstick along with it or not. I WILL be purchasing EFI live dsp5 tuning in the next few days. If I am getting efi live do I need to do the fingerstick? Or can the tuner simply tune it out? If I install the block off plate before I get efi live will it run ok? I'm not worried about it throwing codes I just need it to drive ok as it is my daily.
Thanks guys,
Korbin

If you're getting tunes you don't need a finger stick. You will be fine driving it until you get it tuned

Use some PBBlasteor on the nuts, purchase a wrench from harbor freight and cut and bend to work. Take some sandpaper and a flat surface and make the plate flat

Watch out for this heater core connection when removing the nuts

Thanks guys! And I finally got around to filling out my sig. That video and the cut/bent wrench tip is super helpful.
