I just installed an auxiliary fuel filter system which utilizes the Cat fuel filters. I am going to remove my factory fuel filter as I have it temporarily mounted near the front bumper. Anyone have any ideas on how i can bleed this system when I want to prime it with my lift pump. I have to plumb the fuel lines in a loop near the engine, is there any type of fitting that has a bleeder screw on it I could put in between the soft fuel line?

Also, just to double check, in these Cat filter does the fuel flow outside in? Meaning, the unfiltered fuel should come into the small holes on the outside of the filter and the filtered fuel should exit through the large hole in the middle and through the threaded nipple? I'm nearly positive that is correct, but never hurts to double check of course.

you can bleed it from the factory test port or do not bleed it at all like I do when I replace my 2 filters and water sep, I also have a guage on the factory head bleed hole
