Well, after 50,000 miles of hammering some GAS was accidentally put in and at the boost levels she was running the crank let go. had no issues, no prior nothing, had 8000 on the new trans and just serviced it changed all fluids did some stereo work and when it left me it had some gas, 56 gallon titan tank with half diesel and the other 1/4 or more of gas and she let go while passing 3 cars won't say how fast he was going:happy2:. So, I am going to be selling the rods, cam and maybe a few other things that weren't damaged. Not sure on the pistons but they look ok but not many people are 20 over so they might be hard to sell. Not sure if the block is worth selling due to shipping now days be so expensive. This was the 7.1 stroker kit from so cal.

It is the difference in the crank pin to center of axis rotation length that makes for longer stroke...Piston to crank length doesn't change...

That was my understanding as well. The pistons have a small notch on one side of the skirt as well but I was thinking the rods are the same, I have to call Guy today so I will ask him. We bought his whole 7.1 stroker kit when we did this. Also have the camshaft, it looks fine, going to take it out friday. Have the socal balancer as well. Also have the original set of heads with 122,000 miles on them. Just going to unload all these spare and extra parts cause they are in my way. I will put it all up in the garage sale area soon just got it apart last night.

Using SoCal cam, its worked great for this long no sense in changing. Just going back to what we had minus putting GAS in the tank
