WTF happened to it? looks like the only thing original on it will be the frame

Started with bad oil cooler turned into blown headgaskets so while shes down we decided to put in the heavier headstuds, twins, 70 over injectors, new lbz cp3 in the valley, then he asked if I could change the inside to as dark as possible so its now dark graphite, got some new seats, going to get some black carpet, upgraded the stereo system and sound deadened the whole inside minus pulling out the dash and I talked him into using the soft leather they use on the seats for the headliner to. Its going to be one sweet looking monster diesel truck when its done, then maybe next year repaint the outside double dark black like his 62 chevy. Its been a blast building this truck. There are so many people on this site who have helped or given advice that made it possible for me to do it. These are just a few pics, as usual I take 10 photo albums worth of pics when I do something. This old computer I have to use takes some time to load stuff but I will keep posting them up as we go.

.....to a 120v ipod player???? You're gonna need a long extension cord.:D

Looks good. I'd love to put that sound deadener in mine, but that means the trucks down for a few days. Someday I will....

I was waiting for someone to notice, I do have a 5000w inverter I am supposed to get in here somewhere to. Its all Kenwood exchlon stuff. No fancy touch screen or anything just the cd/dvd reciever so he can get headrest screens later a 5 channel amp with just a 6" sub in the console and the door speakers and tweeter replacements. No big thumper just a good clean sounding system.

Nope, we kept the first one, had PPE replace and test the exhaust housing that got screwed up locally, added some bigger sticks, studs, new cups, headgaskets and an LBZ cp3 in the valley. Got the 5" exhaust in yesterday. That GT55 is one heavy @#$%%$ trying to carry it up and over the fender, damn!! My son asked if we had a small crane to help load it:D. I probably put it in and took it out 10+ times last night making sure everything fit before I wrap the hot pipe and actually bolt everything together permanately. I am very anal about it fitting, and looking correct. My kids say I am too picky:confused: i just want it right and also be able to access things like heater hoses and such when they go without disassembling the whole system.

I agree with your kids :D

So what if it takes me 3 evenings and 2 days to install a pre-fit twin kit:D What was it Friday night, Sat and Sat night and Sun and finished it Sun night and then had to cut off that stupid stud Thursday night. At least you can say I am very thourgh and dilligent in my work, slow, but dilligent! And, you havent had any trouble with my install:D except those stupid Radio Shack flip switches:hug:, besides, as long as it flies when we are done who cares if it took almost a year:angel: on Blackie. New interior, new stereo, new steering knuckles, tie rods, braces, tires, upper control arms, lower ball joints, new LBZ pump, new headers, twins, rear main seal, and a titan 56 gal tank. I know I left out something but damn, lucky I can remember all of this.
Forgot sound deadner inside, on the floor, back, doors and roof. see, damn old age
