I was working on my truck a few weekends ago and i wore a zip up hoodie. These scratches aren't deep at all. What is the best plan of action?

I use that Scratch X stuff....works well on clear coat scratches like that.

Worst mistake I ever made was pulling into the dealership while they were pulling my black truck out of the detail bay back onto the lot.
I went to buy a left over 03 Sonic Blue truck.....saw this one driving through the lot all shiney and drove it home about an hour later......stupid stupid stupid.....

fine cut cleaner and a soft oscillating buffer wheel and finish it off with a sealer glaze and then wax if you like

I made the mistake of buying a shiny, new, black truck.. It showed every single dust particle within a 50 mile radius. I only own white now. MUCH easier to keep clean, and scratches are not near as noticeable.

if its not that deep a cleaner/wax will take it out. I use the Meguiar’s cleaner wax and follow up with the mirror glaze. My wife always scratches her black truck with her long nails so i pretty much do it on a weekly basis

As sweet lookin as black trucks (and cars) are when they are clean, I just don't know if it's worth all the effort to keep them that way. The ol' lady's truck is black and man, she about goes crazy tryin to keep it spic-n-span. It seems to develop more and more scratches all the time. I honestly feel bad for her because it's so much effort to keep it so nice and she does make sure to keep it NICE.

I'll have white next hopefully although my gray truck has been nice and easy to keep sharp if I'd just wash it more often. I used to be so good about it. Now it depresses me with the shape its in. :( My laziness is beginning to frustrate me. I never used to be this way.

i like black truck i will admit that it is a lot harder to take care of but in the end its worth it. I spend a lot more time on my wifes truck then my 2500 or 3500 but thats because the brown and silver dont show as much.

That Scratch X didn't do shit... I wasn't expecting a miracle but maybe a slight improvement? Looks like i'll just take it to a body shop :(
