I really haven't said much about it as I don't like to count my chicks before they hatch so sorry for the silence until now on this project. Better late than never I guess right! Well some of you may or may not have known that I bought the rolling chassis from Mike Graves@ Hollyrock to continue the push to have the first 8 sec pass with an Allison. Evan from Limitless and I tried to make this happen 2 years ago when Mike debuted this truck but unfortunately bad luck fought him the entire way and he got tired and burnt out on the project. I didn't want to cut up White Lightning to make it happen so we bought Mike's truck as a roller and I went to work on it 8 months ago. It has fought me tooth and nail the entire time but I didn't rush it and just took my time on it and made sure that it was going to work when I was done with it. I basically stripped it and started over with everything to make it exactly how I wanted it. I turned it into a Promod Truck that currently weighs 3500lbs with me in it.
I can't thank my support team enough for the continued drive to make this happen. I have Evan @Limitless Diesel helping with the Allison trany in the truck, Johny @Stainless Diesel helped me with a Stainless 5-blade S485/96 single turbo to the air supply to this beast. Exergy Performance is my go to for the fuel system and I am running a single 14mmRace Cp3 with 500%injectors. Tristan@Locke Performance hooked me up with a set of stainless fuel return rails. I currently have a single .033" spool jet in it right now. Logan@Diesels Unlimited hooked me up with a Nitrous solenoid setup for my second stage that I haven't got installed yet but it is in the works so we can really go fast with it! Vincent Mayeda @Mayeda Motorsports for helping me with all the safety equipment to keep me as safe as possible in this beast! My family for putting up with me and this project as it was time consuming. My crew and team at the shop that helped with it when I needed. Brett Deutsch and Johny Gilbert for helping me with the suspension setup at the track yesterday and for always having my back and pushing me forward in the project. Also a big thanks to Jeremy Wagler and his crew for letting us come to his track and make my licensing passes there, was a great experience and the Wagler Motorsports Park is a great 1/8th mile dragstrip and was a lot of fun to get me personally broken in on this project going from my 10 second street truck that I have been racing for the past years and transitioning into this 8sec promod truck! It is a completely different feeling and experience and it feels like home in the seat. The truck is going faster every single pass and has a lot left on the table. My original goal was to have the first 8sec Allison pass ever and this truck technically holds the record will a 9.06 pass from two years ago. Well after the runs yesterday we know it will do it without issue and I'm actually setting my sights on the first 7 sec pass with it next season! I have some more tweaking to do but this thing is a beast and will continue to get faster!!!

The engine in this truck is actually the street motor out of White Lighting with Oval cast pistons and SoCal Stg2 heads and a 9200AF Cam and Carillo rods. I am running it with an LLY ECM and 5Sp Tcm and trany. Stay tuned!!!

Truck looks awesome! I caught a vid on YouTube a bit ago and was waiting for you to post some info:thumb:
Mid 5’s at a buck 130 still feeling the truck out shows the potential it has!

Damn dude, very impressive to say the least. Wishing you all the best, what a bunch of badassery. Love the way that cleans up after the launch!

Very nice build! Curious, has a trans brake been developed for the allision yet?

There was rumors of that back when but never amounted to anything.

Thanks guys for the kind words, has been a long 8-month road to get to this point but definitely worth it!!!

No, it's not just you! I think it flashed the fluid in the converter but that was also the fastest 60ft pass when it went 1.27. Like I said, a few more tweaks to get it to leave how I want it to and it will be riding real dirty! Next goal is to get the 60ft into the teens and see how close to the 4's it will get! I'm just getting started with this beast!
