Does anyone make that turbo setup i know they make a 71/74 nongated and HTT makes a 71/73 gated. I wonder how a 71/74/16 gated would run over a 66/71/16 gated as for all out power wise?

all out power, the 73 or 74 turbine's are going to flow more than the 71 wheel you have now.

I would recommend an external gate versus an internally gated housing, never was a big fan of them.

i'd look into a 400 frame s372 with race cover. It has a 71.4 compressor inducer and a 74mm turbine exducer. That charger will make awesome power and have great street ability

My guess is that the 16cm housing may be a restriction on the larger model and not allow as much gain as it could be capable of... just a thought... a 16 isn't all that big....

It looks like money would be better spent on twinning the 66/71/16 that i have now instead of putting larger wheels in it if that can even be done. I was just looking for a little more for the time being without breaking the bank just yet

Whats your desired HP goal? That 66/71 is a great charger to compound with. In my opinion its pretty much a waste of money to swap wheels, have parts machined or put a new housing on there, then to rebalance everything. Its worth it to just wait it out to go with the latter, or to just sell the turbo and buy a new single. But you're clearly looking to go big.

Sonny money would be better spent to twin off what you have. Use a S480-82 series t-6 1.32 a/r and you would have a 850-900hp capable setup that should drive great and run very well. You could get into the low 11's possibly with that kit.:D
