With turbo techology that we have, wouldn't it be possible to make a 75 or 80 mm turbo capable of pushing enough air to support 1000 hp? Maybe Mark will chime in since he is the leader in VVT turbos. Haven ridden in both fixed and variable trucks, I personally like quick snap of the VVT but the top end of the fixed turbo. I will be starting a motor build this winter and would love to have a single VVT capable of making 1000 hp.

It would be cool but unfortunately not a realistic goal due to lack of parts available to reach that kinda power. It takes a S475/87+mm turbined turbo to generate this level of power realistically and your giving up something to get to it.

I made 890hp 1600ftlbs fuel only with my truck 72mm vgt 12mmcp3 100%inj and it ran 10.96@12xmph at TS a few years ago. Yes you could spray to 1000hp+ but you would definitely want to gate it!:thumb:

It would take some work, but your best bet would likely be a Holset HE551Ve or HE561Ve (Cummins ISX). Second in line would be a modded Garrett GT4502V (Detroit S60) with a better compressor.

Controlling either of them will be challenging.
