Caldwell , Oh
I was wondering if there were any big workstock pulls that allow stock appearing chargers . I was planning on going to Kentucky this weekend but the truck that was taking me broke down . 5 hours is a little too much of risk for m to drive it down . I live in South East Ohio but would be willing to drive 6 hrs or so .

So you wana cheat and run youre upgraded 68mm against the stock turbo crowd?

Small pecker that you'd like to appear to be abnormally large?

If hes Cheating or not all depends on how the rules are worded. If they say something like stock unmodified Charger Then he would be cheating. But if they say stock appearing Charger then he can pretty much run whatever size charger he wants as long as it "appears" to be what came on the truck.

X2. Doesn't sound like cheating to me. He said he wanted somewhere that allowed stock appearing. If the rest of the crowd were dumb enough to run actual stock turbo's, still isn't cheating

I have never cheated at a pull . I have only been able to pull workstock one time in my life and it was at Wooster . I won the pull and when I was teched I told them it was a modified turbo . The rules around here state stock appearing and thats how the rules were worded down in New Castle Ky . ( where I also called and talked to the tech official and told him I had Danville modded turbo . He was perfectly fine with it .)

I also tow a 9,000 lb camper with my truck so the vgt turbo is a big help .

If I would have known about the pull at new london a little earlier I probably would have went but thanks for the info .

We're in the same boat. We run "stock appearing" rules down here and the class is getting pretty tough. Would I try to go to a pull and get into a strict "stock unmodified" class? Probably not.. But I don't feel bad for one minute goin to a stock appearing pull. Hell, u got to be innovative if u gonna compete. ( Just like all the 2.8 and 3.0 trucks that stepped down when the hp levels jumped so high a few years ago) People who say we should step up and quit pickin on stock turbo guys haven't competed in a workstock class in a few years. And im not even from "the mecca" haha i would imagine we would get our @sses handed to us up there. I'm not quite running a 68 mm cheetah haha. But I'm doin what I can!!!

For those of you that say adamax isnt playing fair cause he doesnt have a stock charger in workstock. Get with the times. Workstock classes have been stock appearing for years now, a lot of them are just goin with 2.5.

It seems to me, it has nothing to do with pecker size... Some of you need to learn a little more.

Around here they are strictly set of "stock" turbo that came off a 1ton under truck, un modified and all. Heck they even made a kid pull 2.6 cuz he had a hybrid 35/40 on his cummins.

I'm pretty sure BOB is stock unmodified. I want to come up that way and pull one weekend but I would have to find a pull that still runs NADM rules. It's a little obvious that something has been tampered with on our charger. But hell it probably wouldn't matter which class we run up there, we probably wouldnt be top 3 anyway. :spit:

Did you go to Carlisle, Ben? I debated it but New Castle is so much closer I just went there. It was a good pull but I'd like to have seen some more KY guys there. Guess so many went to Carlisle chasing points.

Well I guess ill put my old wheel back in if they do that cause everyone else has dual fuelers.. and 68 mm or bigger turbos so the batmo wheel that is not anybigger and that everyone around here says is pointless..might screw me
