Yesterday on my way home from work going up a 3% (or so) grade doing 50 in 4th gear I see my trans slip percentage at 90% on my edge moniter! I know I should get rid of the edge... It normally slipps between 30-60% depending on how far the throttle is down... How long do ya think its got? The edge was on level 1

that is what is key. it is going to slip with out the converter locked. the trans and clutches are not slipping, but the converter is doing its job.

what size tires you running? mike would be better to answer that question. if it was truly 90% slipage it would set a code. give mike a call if he doesnt read this.
