Big shavings in trans pan.

Jordan, I don't remember saying anything about a 450hp tune, but talking about an EFI tune in the truck.
You said 450 horse EFI tune, smoked the trans. Thats why I was suprised when you told me that it had a ton of shavings in the pan and whatnot. I think that the trans had to have been beat on alot harder than a mild tow tune to cause that much carnage unless it was a total fluke. But my bets on a big tune and a mean driver
Well, I must be getting old cuz I don't remember. I think the issue happend with a t-case that didn't disengage and caused a bind that broke something inside the trans. But I don't know cuz I wasn't there, so oh well, trans is back in truck today and will be on the road tomorrow...
He just got a stocker unit right? Did you guys take apart the tcase and make sure everything is sound?
The T-case was fine, no issue there at all. The dealer took the t-case apart too before I got it and said there wasn't anything wrong with it either. Yeah, stock unit and new converter. We cleaned out the lines and the cooler this afternoon so all is good there.

Took the trans out this morning with no help at all, and got the trans from Bill Heard at 4:15 and had the trans and T-case back in by 5:25. Not bad for a one man show.:cool2:

, I have been on the phone all day with customers...:hello: The truck just needs the harness hooked up, and driveshaft put back in, put the starter back on, put the front pipe back on, and fluids topped off to get it on the road. So we aren't finished yet, but the trans is in, converter bolts are in, t-case is in and the crossmember is in with only 2 minutes help from me with the t-case in that hour.

I think your computer has issues. I've never seen anything except the Alligator Performance banner.

No just sometimes its better to sit back and learn then try to be upfront and teach.
If your good people will learn of it. if your bad they will learn tht two. just some advice from someone who has been around the block a few times Its hard to learn when your busy talking. and can learn alot when your not.

How do you figure im trying to teach? You know I help Chad out and want to make sure whatever leaves his shop isnt going to come back for the same problem. Ive never claimed to be the best or fastest at anything either.
