Ive been fighting high rpm rail pressure issues that seemed to have popped up a couple months ago. I finally decided to start to log rail current to make sure it was doing what is is supposed to do. So I log it only to find it is only going to about 900ma on a 2600-3000us tune. So I go into the rail pressure current (which I had already altered to zero from about 44k and down) table and drop it to zero from 28000mm3/sec-60000mm3/sec.

I go out and log again and my pressure holds good and even over commanded. So it seems like my rail pressure issue which I though was my cp3 going out is fixed now. The tune was never touched for about 6 months untill I started having the rail pressure issues. Has anyone else ever had to retune their reg current?

Its def something to check if a truck isn't holding the rail it should be , there are a few guy's that put the reg wire on a cut out switch so when the switch is flipped say during a pass down the strip the reg goes wide open to make sure its at full open .

Its wierd after I set mine to zero im still not seeing zero commanded current but still about 800-900. But whats wierd to is that now the commanded mm3 flow at wot is now lower.

Could there be something that maybe is wearing out that is making me keep adjusting the current down?

It still seems to be holding the desired besides the fact it may go a little above desired at full pressure. I have a feeling most people who think there having cp3 or weak lift pump problems need to look more closely at this.

just what are you talking about? witch wire? more info plz

Either one of the 2 wire's should do the trick when the regulator is disconnected it goes wide open , remember current holds it shout not open ................................ , but I would use the ground wire if it was me , I don't have the schematics with me but shouldn't be too hard to find the info on wire color.
