I did in the past and its been fine for about 3k miles. I changed my fluid and the thing hung up again, took the valve body apart and the sucker was stuck

Yes. I worked on that bore for 2 hrs today and got the valve to where I could drop it in and it would bounce up and down when it hit bottom. Put it all back together and it made it out of the driveway then bam popped a code and shifted straight to 4th, throws p0762 code. This is very frustrating as I dont understand how I can get this valve not to stick. I was very careful tq down, did the whole start from center and work out in a circle, I think I need a new shift valve portion of the valve body as Im getting tired of pulling this thing out.

Did some searching and I found Sonnax makes a sort of kit for the E shift valve. They have a bore sizing tool and a stiffer spring. I think thats what I need.

Where can I get a new or good used valve body? And is the upper shift valve portion the same for 5 speeds and 6speeds?
