Best Waterpump

Well after 57,000 miles My Napa pump is leaking like crazy.

I wonder if I should get a GM pump this time or is it expected at 500+ hp to fail prematurely.

I don't mind spending the extra money if it is going to last

Well you do have more girbles under your hood with the bigger turbo, id get a GM pump.

the ac delco water pump is cheaper the the "GM" one

Kevin get the Napa one for now if its cheaper.

I have an idea that might make the Napa, AC Delco, and OEM pumps live a lot longer, just have to test it...and you know me.

Napas are junk my company buys them for our fleet GM 2500 3500hds medium dutys only because they are the cheapest,sometimes they fail when brand new and some times they last a few monthes and some are going the distance but we have a high failure rate with them thats for sure.I got mine(AC Delco) from IWI which it ill wisc ia and i think it had a life time warr. IIRC

I buy everything ACDelco if I can, there isnt a Napa for miles down here :roflmao:

I have had good luck with the GM ones they go for about 180 bucks

Ive had all good luck with the $90 pumps from advance auto believe it or not.
