Both the LB7 and LBZ are paid off but want just one real good tow rig. Sell the LBZ and put triples on the LB7? and maybe build a short bed dually? Sell the LB7 and triple the LBZ and turn it into a short bed dually or just buy a LML dually? What are your guys thoughts? Hard to sell the LB7 since its already built.

stick with the lbz and just put your built motor into the lbz and put the lbz heads on it. this way you will still have your 6speed for towing and you will have a built lbz tow rig. Only thing you would have to get then is injectors to support the tripples you want. just my :2cents:

keep the lb7.. easier to get around emissions if the time should ever come. Plus you're a few steps head of the game already.

I'm with the FNG!

LB7 are a PIA if you lose an injector.
LLY's are just plain slow:D
LML are hard on fuel with very little tuning available.

I didn't think you could put LBZ heads on a Lb7 block? Guess I will have to look into this again. Its been a few years. LBZ has been my most favorite truck to tow with out of them all. Have had two lbz and have used a friends lmm to tow with but have never towed with a lml
