Question: Best SS class tire for a 16x12 rim?

I am looking at 16x12 rims, I have found a few sets on craigslist, now i need to find a good tire to run for the track. I know which tires I want to run in the dirt, unless the next gen STS comes in a wider size, I think i'll be running the 375/50/16 MTZ's. I have looked at the M&H 31" cheater slicks, whats the consensus on these compared to a drag radial? I dont even think there is a drag radial taller than 31" for this rim. right?

hey Tim where are you finding the 31 cheater slicks? all I see on their site is 30 x 14 or 14.5 in a 16

Hmm maybe it was 30". It's been a while. I know I saw a 31 or 32 somewhere though, it might not have even been dot, maybe hoosier?
