A customer of mine has managed to warp his OE and now Napa Fleet front rotors ive installed on his 2018. What have you guys found to hold up to aggressive brake users/towing? These trucks are known for this issue. Thought maybe Napa's Fleet stuff might have been the fix.....

I hate to piggyback and know there are other brake threads but they've got some age on them so thought I'd poke in here....

in addition to best rotors... is there a "best that money can buy" brake setup for street use that includes better/bigger rotors, calipers (pistons), pads, etc?

Willwood is pretty much the only option there.

The ones I seen from them, you have to have a 20" wheel diameter minimum.

That's the only way to get larger rotors like you asked. There is not a kit that has larger rotors that does not require larger wheels because the space isn't there on a 16" wheel.

EBC makes killer pads/rotors for these trucks but you'll pay for em handsomely.

Flush the brake fluid with Castrol SRF racing brake fluid. If they’re warping rotors their brake fluid is probably close to failure.

in my opinion it's a hit or miss on warping no matter who you get them from unless the manufacturing does normalizing between passes on the lath when machining them to size. cast steel is probably the most stable under varying temperatures but depending on the grain structure of the steel and how it's oriented even they can warp.

the only ones that wont warp are the carbon rotors that some air craft and race cars use. but they have there own set of different issues

I'd just put another set of stock rotors on and have them probably broken in with a new set of pads. oh, and teach him about that turbo brake thingy 😁

I put the powerstop kit on my 16 after warping the factory rotors hauling equipment. They seem to have more stopping power than factory and do very well with either hauling equipment or the pulling truck
