Best place to mount extra trans cooler

Hey guys, i just picked up a bd trans cooler with fan. Im trying to see where the best place to mount it is? I am thinking under the bed but the truck see's desert as offten as i can. So im worried about rocks and scrapes and mud/silt clogging up the fan and fins. What have you all done?

Most of us replace the factory cooler with a larger one... But you can mount it anywhere you like, it just adds more plumbing.

Can you fit in the original location? That would be my choice

Make sure you use the fan as a puller.

I had one that was put in the box, I took it out and put a better one up front and saw a cooler temps. I would just use it upfront, vs having to make a really long lines to mount it somewhere else.
