I know this is probably a crazy question, but what is the best oil I can run in the Dmax for the money and what change intervals are you guys doing on yours? Thanks:)

What part of Washington do you live? If you have very much cold weather I would recommend rotella 5w40 synthetic. It improves cold starting 100%. If your like brian and live in a warmer climate, I agree that any 15w40 will do.

Mobil Delvac 15-40 and every 4k miles for me. Ive also run Delo and Rotella (no difference IMO).I like getting away into the man cave even if the oil "could" go another 1k.

Firm believer in the ACDelco oil filter though.

x2 I would use 5W-40 for colder climates, and 15W-40 where its not too cold.
I run Mobil Delvac1 5W-40 in my truck.

TX of course
No not all 15-40 are all the same. I see it every day with companies that use cheap oil in there equipment. That doesn't mean good oils are expensive Delo and Delvac can be had for $12 gal. I'm not happy with Rotella and Royal Purple is crap in a diesel.

I run Schaeffers 15w40 change about at 10-15k depending on how much towing I'm doing. 20w50 in the puller.

I've heard very good things about Schaffers. Just can't bring myself to pop for synthetic. Money I like to put towards the go fast/wife don't know account if you know what I mean.
