Yeah I think that this new diesel is really dry. Injector shop I went to when I had to buy a new pump and 8 injectors for my 05 said they wouldn't even think about running a diesel truck without some kind of lubricant. I had no idea of course, ordinarily wouldn't have paid it any mind because I think a lot of that kinda stuff is snake oil, but if I do keep any of my diesel trucks I might just start using Stanadyne, which is what they suggested or 2 stroke oil- they said that was really good as well. I don't know, pretty soon diesels are going to be gone with all the epa stuff. Pretty sad. I am going to have to pay about $10,000 more in a few years to buy a john deere tractor or dozer because of Tier 4 final then I will have to pay big cash when they blow up. End rant.
