Hey guys, looking to get a bunch of helpful info form people that know what they are talking about and this looks like the best place by far to get it! I want to build a low to mid 11 sec DD and i need help figuring out EXACTLY what i need to do it. Truck is an 05 LLY that made 541whp on the dyno but thats not enough for me. I was thinking about twins and a built motor but what do i need in the motor for it to live a long and healthy life? I am thinking rods, cut and coated pistons, and head studs but after that i have no idea. Would up pipes and manifolds be a good idea? I am guessing i'll need 750-800 whp to meet my goal. Any info you have to offer will be MUCH appreciated.

Uppipes, headers or manifolds, main studs, SoCal cam, keyed crank, Socal head work...all I can think of at the moment

If you haven't already, I would start with the getting the trans built. Then start in on the HP!

It all comes down to your budget really. Only difference will be the more money you spend on better parts, the more reliable it will likely be at higher hp.
