For drag racing getting one that will put you into the rpm band you need to spool up in the staging beams will go a long way. A daily driver and tow rig will be all together different.
Josh , I am not saying this to be a dick , you know I like you and we have had many of conversations ............................................. but you have hated almost every part you have put on your truck, twins , injectors ,converters whats the deal ?
Some people are just miserable... I love my PI converter, truthfully I don't care personally if I like a part or not if it works and helps me go fast that is all I care about
your right, because most of the stuff is way overrated. my first set of twins useing the stock top charger sucked. egts were terrible, track times werent great. the injectors are my fault, i went the cheap route and they rattle because of it. i liked my 1057 converter. my precision sounds like it is popping pop corn under the truck, unlocks under wot in a big tune, and doesnt tow great with my setup whereas the 1057 did. everybody says im too picky but you know what, when you have all this money wrapped up in a truck you expect for some of these high dollar parts to be worth a crap. everybody doesnt have as good of luck as others. im just being honest with my opinions. somebody has to be the bad guy.
I dont look at it like being the "bad guy" Just seems odd to me I have used alot of the same parts you have hated with good luck is all , I am sure precision would be more than happy to fix the converter , i have never had one rattle that i have installed .

I can respect that.
I have spent alot of time and money on projects in the past, and not gotten good results, good money paid for. Unfortunately is was the result of a bad combination of parts, and hard lessons learned, not... bad parts.
not trying to argue but what parts have we both used? i had stock mpi twins, you had big twins. now that i have big twins, i love them. ive never said other wise about that. i have 60 over extrude hone inj. yours are big dipper 45. you had a 1055 and ive had a 1057 and now ml. i know youve put the ml in some trucks, i guess i just have that bad of luck.
