Lucky sucker! Our duck season isnt until the 16th. I cant speak for the supernova but I have an M2 and I like it pretty well. You can check out the Benelli forums to see what people have to say, likes/dislikes over time etc.

Buddy has one, loves it. Super smooth, rises easily to the natural position, light, easy to maneuver. Shot it a few times, wouldn't mind having one myself.

Awesome. Yea it is nice and light, lighter than my 20ga 870 i think. It's my first 12ga and i couldn't beat the price.

absolutely love mine, haven't shot the 3 1/2" out of it yet but i've shot 3" out while shooting trap just to see and it handled great and shoulder felt great too, like it WAY better than my 870 express mag, lighter, doesn't bother my shoulder, and the action is way smoother also

I had one before trading it in on my current Franchi, i loved my nova. damn gun was tough and put up with crappy weather and freezing temps, the only thing it did do once was the firing pin froze, it was 8deg out and get a little wet while wading into a spot, now i carry remoil in my blind bag and since havent had a problem.

Man you have such nice terrain there. Ill snap a picture of our desert ponds :spit: Good work on the black duck, something Ill never probably kill. And woodies and teal have to be some of my favorite birds to shoot and eat. Great pictures too. One of my buddies got a Cannon Rebel EOS 40D this year so maybe well have some good shots like yours.

I hunted the river this morning Ill snap a pic of it. Big brown trout surfacing all around while I watch ducks. It is awesome I just would love to hunt ducks in timber at least once. And woodies are rare here, black ducks are not here at all so you have nice diversity too. Good to see your putting it to good use :thumb: Check out the easy hit sights (the ones Tom Knapp endorses) they are kick ass. The Benelli bead unscrews and they stick on the rib. Those suckers glow! http://www.cabelas.com/fryprod2-1/708830.shtml?type=product&WT_tsrc=CSE&WT_mc_id=GoogleBaseUSA&WT_z_mc_id1=708830&RID=40&mr:trackingCode=6C11DE51-F5D2-DF11-82EF-001B21631C34&mr:referralID=NA

Yep I killed a gadwall and a greenhead this morning and left at around 10 because there were alot of birds and we want to hunt the area tomorrow with my buddy and his dog. My friend is a pro staffer on final approach and bill saunders calls and has taught me a great deal so I was seeing how the birds were decoying etc. Lots of fun to get a greenhead to circle three times as ive never been able to really call to them until this year. So tomorrow it might get rude down at the river. Post your pics!
